Join Alpinistas on this bucket list adventure exploring Northern Vietnam.
Alpinistas Vietnam Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
We meet in Hanoi in the evening for dinner and drinks. Check into the hotel and get to know the group.
Day 2: Local Culture
We’ll enjoy breakfast at the Hanoi hotel, then take our private transportation to Cat Ba Island via shuttle and speedboat. In the afternoon, we have some time to explore the quaint town and eat some seafood.
Day 3: Action Starts!
We get up early to meet our local guides for a full day of kayaking and deep water solo climbing. Mid-day we’ll enjoy our lunch on a floating island!
Day 4: Hiking
Day four we pack up and move to a farm in the middle of Cat Ba Island, and then stretch our legs and take in the beautiful scenery on a hike around the the tropical forest. We finish our day here with a freshly cooked meal and a "bia hoy."
Day 5: Butterfly Valley
We don't have to go far to get to our next climbing destination: Butterfly Valley. We have a leisurely breakfast and then meet up with our local guides and climb for the afternoon.
Day 6: Caving Anyone? If not, then back to Hanoi.
We say goodbye to Cat Ba early in the morning and either transfer back to Hanoi, or continue down to central Vietnam by train for the caving extension

All in-country transfers, including airport pick-up and drop-off, round trip transportation from Hanoi to Cat Ba, transport around the island between accommodations, water transport to climbing locations.
