Greetings! I'm Logan, your trusted backpacking and education guide from the Alpinistas Collective.
With a deep-rooted love for the outdoors, my journey began amidst the majestic Appalachian Mountains in East Tennessee. Nature's wonders right in my own backyard inspired me, fostering a strong sense of confidence and creativity as an outdoorswoman.
Nowadays, my backyard extends infinitely, offering limitless adventures. My true passion lies in empowering women to find purpose and fulfillment in their lives.
When I'm not exploring the Yosemite backcountry, you'll find me utilizing my skills as a travel Registered Nurse, working diligently in the Emergency Room. During my downtime, I embrace thrilling activities like rafting down the Nolichucky River, gliding on a longboard across the ocean waves, or trail running alongside my loyal companion, Jasper.
But above all, I find solace in simply being immersed in the embrace of nature. I can't wait to meet each and every one of you, and embark on unforgettable journeys together!

Ting is an AMGA certified Single Pitch Instructor based in Joshua Tree, California where she works with California Climbing School and Adaptive Climbing Coalition. She is also an Emergency Medical Technician in the 911 system of the Morongo Basin.
Ting is passionate about all kinds of mountain sports and especially loves exploring the High Sierra and California deserts, where she has summited nearly 200 unique peaks.
In her free time, she is usually planning the next big climbing trip, cooking up a huge meal, or relaxing with her dog, Ian, a very cuddly pitbull.

Joanne founded Alpinistas with a desire to encourage and inspire women to get outside and explore whether that be through a female-centric shopping experience, women’s only outdoor education and recreation, or by giving back to support outdoor programs for girls. From her own city life to mountain life experience, she knows first-hand how this can be possible for any woman.
