Alpinistas Adventures & Guide Service is a women owned, women led outdoor adventure company specializing in women’s outdoor education and recreation. We’re based in the California-Nevada region, with additional destination oriented outings and expeditions further in the US and around the world. Plus, we have an online community for finding friends, learning skills virtually & more!
We are always looking for amazing women to join us in encouraging and empowering women to get outdoors. All skill levels are welcome but some roles require more training and certifications than others.
Potential Open Roles:
Backpacking, Climbing, Mountaineering, Snow Sport, AIARE, Mountain Bike Guides - Lead recreational or educational outings. You’ll need to have the relevant industry certifications and experience for the category of sport led.
Sierra Based Event Support - follow along under a lead guide or host to assist with providing an AMAZING client experience. Great for someone that doesn’t mind pitching in to help to experience some amazing trips like setting up tents, cooking or shadow on skills. Minimal experience needed.
Sierra Based or Online Educators - Subject matter, opinion, professional expertise or just influencer status. Looking to build out our Sierra based educators for one-day or overnight clinics. Not local, there are a ton of options available when you go virtual or with digital based courses!
Event Host - Run your own casual event, with or without the support of a lead guide. This could be a mini retreat or a backpacking adventure. Minimal experience to more experience, depending on the event type.
Porters/Drivers - Wanna schlep food and gear around the Sierra in exchange for gas money and access to beautiful destinations?
